Jungle Cake

I made this jungle cake for my cousins birthday.  It was a vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream.  The animals were made using Youtube tutorials.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Cake

I made this cake for a first birthday party.  The first tier is a vanilla sponge which I drizzled with a vanilla syrup after baking.  It also had a vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam filling.  The second tier is a chocolate fudge cake with white chocolate buttercream.  Yummy!!

The decorations were mostly made with fondant icing.  I had to use flower paste for the wings of the butterfly and let them dry well so that they were rigid.  I also made some vanilla cupcakes and used some hungry caterpillar toppers which I found on amazon.

Peppa Pig Cake

I have been busy making this Peppa pig cake for my goddaughter this week.  It was quite detailed so took me a while to complete.  I used a you tube tutorial to make the peppa model and the teacups and teapot.

Baby shower cakes

I made these cakes for a baby shower.  The large cake is a sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam.
