My sister's boyfriend is a bit nuts about owls so I have decided to make some owl cake pops to go with the owl shaped birthday cake this year. I found a guide on youtube and off I went to tescos to buy all the decorations. To make these you will need chocolate cake, melted chocolate, chocolate buttons for the wings, circle shapes for the eyes and stars for the feet. I also found some white chocolate shapes for the beak.
And here they are...
We are all off to the pub tomorrow for a lovely Sunday lunch so I have made Curt an owl cake to go with the cake pops. It took quite a while but I did cheat slightly by watching a youtube clip showing how to make this cake!
